Coffee filter wreath

I've been working on this off and on the past few days. I've been wanting to host a Pinterest Party and I've been experimenting with different crafts but can't find the right one. I would like for the craft to be easy, cheap and quick. I was hoping to find something they could finish within an hour or so. This took away longer than one or two hours.

Oh well, I guess I'll keep browsing Pinterest. ;-)

It took a pack of coffee filters and a piece of another one. I used a straw wreath because I couldn't find a foam one. I cut the letter H out of card board with my cameo. Then I glued and glitter it.

Here's a youtube tutorial if you'd like to make one.

Here's some Pinspiration

Baby Shower Gift Bags and Recyclable Crafts

I apologize in advance for the picture quality. These were all taken with my cell phone.

These are gift bags that I made for two different baby showers that I am helping with this summer. I believe I cut out 70 boxes total. Whew that was a job!!

We made these wind chimes in my special education classroom today. I covered an old cd with scrapbook paper and used my crop-a-dile to punch the small holes at the bottom. We tied on old beads and bells to make the "chimes". They turned out really cute and they really do jingle. :)

I found this idea online. They are robots made from soup cans, lug nuts and different odds and ends we had in the classroom. These were REALLY fun to make. We even glued on old earrings. :)

Pumpkin

Cathy saw this project in the paper creations magazine and asked if I could make it. It's very pretty and glittery but wow, this was kind of tough and time consuming. whew! But I'm glad I tackled it because it is very pretty! :)
