Birthday Cake

Isn't this the cutest birthday cake EVER? Thank you Sandy! It was so good. The girls are having a piece as I write this. You girls made this birthday one of the funest ones ever! Had a great time shopping too! (wink)

I've been HAD~!

Yes I've been HAD! Cathy and Sandy paid a little visit to my house, driveway and road today. They made signs and put them out for all the world to see that I'm turning 30 tomorrow! I think it's so funny and incredibly SWEET! I got the biggest kick out of it. I had no idea they had a little "project" going on. :) I think the signs are adorable. They even used their new handy dandy cricut expression machines for the signs. See the birds and flowers?

Girls.... you just wait, your day is coming ;) Be prepared! hahaha

Check out the cute scallop heart card that Cathy made today. They are just too cute for words. She bought these little stamps from the stamping show we went to in Atlanta last weekend. Now I wished I had bought some. ;) Well maybe she will let me borrow hers. Or there is always next year right??!! ;)
Now this card is too cute! It's a folding circle card. Just to precious! It's actually 5x5. I love the little bird stamp!!

This is also a stamp that Cathy bought at the show in ATL. You actually put a little tea bag inside. How neat is that??!! You can not see it but she added green/glittery embossing powder to it to make it POP. Again... so cute! Check her other cards out here

Blue Birds

I worked at the craft shack this evening after work. (It's funny we're calling it a craft shack because it doesn't resemble a shack at all...lol)

I accomplished a good bit. I have a feeling I am going to have to work really hard after work several evenings to prepare for the craft show. I can hardly stand to be at work. It's so hard to work and think about what you need or want to be doing instead...lol

Here is a name plate that Cathy did last weekend for a baby shower. My dad cut the wood out of oak for her. And she used the cricut and a punch to do the rest. I think it's adorable!!

Well Cathy and I are officially entered into a craft show. Our first ever and we are SUPER excited about this opportunity. We don't have much time since it was a last minute decision. The show will be the last weekend in April. We've had so much excitement lately with our new craft shack, the stamping show and now a craft show. The lady came and painted the birds on the wall yesterday. I will post pictures soon. I forgot my camera yesterday.

Christmas LO's

Well I found some time to scrapbook Saturday! I've been dying to work on my Christmas and vacation albums since before Christmas. I feel like a little kid at Christmas about it. I can't sleep at night because I've been lying in bed thinking about it.. I know it's silly but it's true!

Even at work I can't get my mind off it! It's pure torture I say! I guess I'll have to squeeze in a little time in the afternoon, after work, here and there to get them completed. I'm ready for the time to change back so it will not be dark so early. When it gets dark I feel like I should have on my pj's and be ready for bed.

I'm totally into snowflakes this year!! :)

C & C Craft Shack

Cathy and I in the garage (where she and I used to scrap) packing up her things waiting on the guys to hurry and lay the carpet! We were so impatient that day. It was so funny. We had to leave because we were so antsy. We went to Lowe's and bought stuff. :) (below pic)

We feel completely blessed!! Daddy built us a gorgeous mini-house . We had our first little get together today. I actually scrapped!! I accomplished 5 sb pages!! Woohoo!! So what do you think of our new crafting shack? It's actually Cathy's-my new-mom but she shares with me..:) She has named it C&C Craft Shack. I live only 5 minutes away. Good thing for me huh? Because I want to move back home right now!! LOL

We are having a lady over to paint scriptures and other things on the wall. Hopefully that will be finished this week. We bought fabric and vinyl for the tables. How do you like it? It even has a little room in the back for storage. My table is the one with the lamp and white cabinet to the side.

Cathy's side is the one near the back wall with the 3 white shelves. I love the colors she picked out. She knows I love pink! ;) We have extra tables for crops and friends who want to bring their crafts over. I will post the paintings when it is completed. We still have some storage stuff to buy and that will come with time.

We have an exciting trip planned in two week. They are having a big stamping expo in Atlanta. I can't wait! It's going to so much fun. Has anyone ever been?

I am also going to be able to visit Archiver's again!! It's a scrappers dream store!!

Vacation 08

Me, Lacey and Haley in front of Niagara Falls, -On the Canadian side. We also saw the Dare Devil Movie at the IMAX there. Really cool video if you've never saw it!

I took my supplies with me in case I got bored.
I did manage to get in a little scrapping. It was so nice doing it by the fire place!

Well we are back!! We had an awesome time! We traveled all the way up the east coast to PA and stayed with some friends. We got to see Niagara Falls, Lake Erie, the girls got to go ice skating and snow sledding for the very first time. We thought we were not going to be able to get into Canada to see the Falls but they finally let us through. Tip: have your birth certificate or passport. ;) We were going to visit Hershey, PA but I was ready to be home. And it's a good thing we came home because Clint got really really sick on the way home.

He has ran a fever for over 4 days now. The doctor said it's not the flu but I'm not so sure. If you're a prayer warrior please lift up a prayer for him. It's hard enough going back to work after vacation much less if you're sick!

I L-O-V-E this picture of Cathy. I loved the expression she had on her face after she opened her new Cricut Expression machine that Daddy bought her for Christmas! She totally did not have a clue about it! They were not supposed to exchange gifts but I "informed" my daddy that he "better buy her something nice!" And he did! I think it's hilarious! But I have to give him credit that was all of his doings and he did a fine job!
Now I can't wait to go over and play with "her new toy!" hehee Daddy is buying her a huge outside handy house and is going to make it into her/our craft room. He is ready for his garage back. lol I am really excited about it though. I will no longer have to haul my things to and from. Now I only have to buy doubles of everything to keep over there. Oh well. It's time for another shopping day!!


Well I will be gone for over a week. We are going on a well deserved vacation and we are so ready. We are leaving in a couple of hours and we are totally siked! We are going up North to stay with some friends and hopefully get to play in a lot of snow. My girls have never seen the snow. I bought new batteries and a new SD card for lots of pictures. So beware!! :) No seriously pray for our safe travels and I hope to share the cool pics when we get home! Merry Christmas!!!
