New Goodies! YAH!

Took alittle shopping trip to Michaels and Target last weekend. MMM Love those stores! Wished I lived closer!

I found some really cheap and neat Halloween goodies! I bought 2 paint like tin cans/with lids for my daughters also. I am going to make them a treat can for Halloween. I've already finished one. I wished they had a better variety of Halloween papers though. So their cans will probably look the same but with their names on it.

I think I spent a total of $13.00 on these items. Gotta love those dollar bins! :) O I almost forgot I bought a circle punch half off with coupon! Now I want some flower punches. Or a cricut!

1. I'm going to decorate one of the calendars for a Christmas gift for my MIL. She will love it. I'll fill it with pics of her grandkids.

Sick Bear

My daughter wrapped her favorite bear up with toliet paper and tape. She said her bear was sick. I just think it's the sweet thing ever. Had to get a picture. She received this bear a couple of years ago when she went into the ER for a dog bite. She has loved this bear ever since.

LUCKY ME!

Looky what I got in the mail Saturday from a sweet sweet lady. She thought I deserved alittle something b.c. of sunshine album making I've been doing. Thank you Brenda! You made my day! I love every single bit of it! You ROCK!

CD Album

This is not my favorite album but it will work. I also made this for one of the challenges for the online crop last weekend. I chose hearts for the theme. I really wanted to make a "Heart" album but I can't cut out things with scissors to well. :) I'll try it again soon though. Who knows, Today maybe the lucky day!

BaseBall Boy Sunshine Album

It's so hard for me to do BOY albums. Every single thing that I own is "girly!" So it' really hard for me to sit down and say ok don't put pink here. Or this can't have pretty ribbons. LOL So here is my verison of a boy album. Nothing fancy about it. :) But hopefully it will brighten one sick child. God Bless!

Here is a teen girl album that I made last weekend. There was a Sunshine Album Crop at CK last weekend. It was alot of fun! I believe there were over 80 albums made from the online crop alone! That is great! That's 80 more kids and families that will have a SB album to work on.

I have been neglecting my blog the past 2 weeks. I've started a new job and havent had any time for scrapping or playing on the computer too much. But that's life huh? I hope I get to scrap soon! I miss posting! :(

Thursday

Thursday will be one year since I found out that our baby had died. I'm feeling really sad this week. No one understands how it feels to loose a child until they have been there. It's like a part of your soul dies with the child.

I've been thinking about the whole grieving process lately. I lost my mother over a year ago and I often think of her too. Do you really ever get over the loss of a loved one? How do you cope? I think it's sad that we dont honor our loved ones more than we do. Yes we visit the graves. We take flowers. But do we talk about them enough? So many things to ponder.

prayer/bible journal

This is an altered prayer/bible journal that I made this week. I found these notebooks at walmart for 10 cents each. I bought 20. One for each kid in our youth group. It's going to go along with a lesson about prayer.

Here is my first altered clipboard. I think it turned out well conisdering it is my first! :) I am planning to make one for each of my daughters teachers for Christmas.

Goal almost completed!

When I first started doing the Sunshine Albums for kids with cancer, I set a goal to make 50 mini albums!! And I am almost there now! I'm so exicted! I just finished my 43 album! Only 7 more to go! I'm so exicted that I want to scrap all day long just to finish the 50! I tried to make half boy and half girl albums and boy was that hard to do! It was so hard not to pink colors, flowers, or ribbon on those boy albums! LOL But I did it!! I cant wait until these albums are given to each child. I will then have such a peace in my soul that my work is finished! God Bless Everyone!! Have a great day! :)
