Flip Flop Album

Aren't these soo cute!! I love the polka dots!!

Flip Flop Album

Flip Flop Albums are alot of fun to make!! They are cute and cheap! What else can you ask for! LOL Basically you take a cute pair of flippers trace them out on to card stock. Cut them out, punch the holes for the holes for the ribbon. The ribbon holds the book together.
Cut off the thong on the right flip flop. Glue the cut out flip flop to the flipper. Note: If you want to decorate the pages before you punch the holes that is fine too! I would have probably done that if I were adding pictures to this album but I didn't. I didnt' because I am going to give this album away to kids with cancer. Check out the Scrapping Alittle Sunshine Project for more info!
You are now ready to decorate and embellish your pages!!
Here I added lines so a sweet little girl can add her own journaling! I used stamps and embossed these flower and butterfly. I also used a brad and a button.

If you dont want your flip flop to look thick like I it is here... You can not add so many embellishments. I ended up taking out 4 pages out of this album because it was so thick (not shown here). Good Luck and most importantly have fun!!! These make great gifts!! Maybe you can brighten someones day!!!

Paper Bag Album

Take 4 white or brown paper bag lunch sacks and lay them on top of each other like this.
Make a crease or fold down the center of each bag. Fold your pages into an album. Punch as many holes as you would like in your album. You can use eyelets like I did here or ribbons or binder rings. Anything to hold the book together that you can find or would like to use.
Start adding you embellishments and paper. If you would like the whole bag to be covered with paper, cover your bag with paper first and then punch your holes and set your eyelets.
Add your ribbons and embellishments.
I added glitter to the flowers. I used a brad to attach it to the paper. Inside of the book are little pockets that you can use for other little things like little pages or tags like I did here.

Crop In Style

Now I can go to crops in style! Check out what my hubby bought me at WM Saturday for 20 bucks! I thought this was a great deal! AND It's my Favorite Color!

Glad Reunion Day!

On that Glad Reunion Day, We'll see you run and play!
O what a joyful day...what else can I say?
Tender kisses we'll give... on your cheeks they will live!
Our family will be complete, on that hillside by the creek!
Sad memories will be forgotten, on that hillside by the mountain!
We'll know you by name and things will never be the same!
O what a glad reunion day when we see our angel run and play!
Endless supply of hugs and countless barrels of love!
Mommy and Daddy will be so proud!
We will shout "We love you" outloud!
Nothing will compare to the joy we'll feel!
Because our hearts will finally be mended and sealed!
Thank You God for our hope of the future
To Finally hold our sweet angel to nurture.
O what a glad reunion day when we see our angel run and play!

God's AWESOME Power!

Just wanted to share how awesome God is! Today we went to church as usual. But our piano player and song leader were on vacation. So when they are out, another lady and I lead the praise and worship. We sing Praise and Worship every Sunday but it puts alittle more pressure on us to sing more songs when they are out. "Or it does on me b.c I get nervous in front of crowds". :) Here is where God's awesome Power comes in. I sang a closing song "NAIL IT TO THE CROSS" and before I even started singing half of the church was at the alter! I couldnt believe it! God was moving a mighty way! God is always awesome but today was so powerful! It's nothing that I did! I love to see God moving! I feel so revived! I just wanted to share this! God wants us to share about Him! He doesnt want us to be ashamed of Him because HE is not ashamed of us! I believe we must tell the good things God does for us in our lives! Romans 1:16 reads For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes! We should never be ashamed or embarrassed to talk about God and what he has done for us! We shouldnt be ashamed or embarrassed to say grace to public, say a prayer a friend, read our bible, go to the alter or even go to church! And if we are we should bring it to God in prayer. He expects us to bring all our needs to him prayer! Prayer is the key to life. It's our communication with God. No it doesnt have to be a fancy prayer. It can be what I call a popcorn prayer. Which is nothing more than saying a very short prayer. God loves us so much! Blessings to all!

Bird Tag

This a is tag that I made from plain white, pink and blue paper scraps. I inked the edges added an eyelet, some ribbon, 2 square brads and fibers. I heat embossed the bird stamp so it would pop!

Altered Paper Clips

These are the jumbo paper clips from walmart! You can alter the smaller paper clips too. I love these because if you need a embellishment you can just grab a paper clip or an office supply and add something cute to it and wha la there you go! And instant embellie!

God's Love For US!

My thoughts for tonight,

Who shall seperate us from the love of God? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus MY SAVIOR! Romans 8:35-39

God loves me so much that nothing can stop that! And if I love him back his word tells me that All things will work for the good! Romans 8:28 " And we know that all things work together for the good TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, to those who are CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE!" No matter what I go through, God still loves me and wants the best for me! And his word tells me that I will go through hard times but if I believe and trust in him I will see through to the end! My FEELINGS sometime tell me that things won't ever brighten up but FACTS in the bible tell me that it will! We can't live on feelings, I must live on the facts! So no matter how I feel the truth is God loves me! And always will! Nothing I can do will remove me from God's love!

Thank you Jesus for loving me!!!

cd album

This was a fun album to make! I haven't finished it yet because I've been extremely busy this week! But in a good way of course! Anywho, I punched holes into some old cd's that I had. Let me tell you something!!! That was not easy! Since I dont have a crop a dile YET! (WINK) I had to use my MM hole punch and hammer! It took me FOREVER to do that! LOL My kids thought I was crazy! Hammering away inside the house! LOL
Took my craft knife and cute out some circles using the cd as a guide. I glued the paper to the cds and added some embellies, ribbons and a binder ring. Wha LA!

Daily Wisdom Key:

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - Proverbs 3:5,6

Diaper Cake

Here is the diaper cake that I made for my SIL. It was super easy to make! All you have to do is roll diapers up. I put a rubber band around each one. Stack them into a cake tier and tie some blue ribbon around it. Add some usable decorations like teethers, lotions, wash clothes, etc. etc. The best thing about this cake is every inch of this cake is FAT FREE! YEAH!

Maze Book

This is a maze book that I made out of one sheet of 12 by 12 cardstock. I used my Easter pictures for the book. The directions are at It is SUPER EASY to make! The only thing I don't like is the button. I forgot and used to much hot glue! YIKES! Well at least it gives it more detail right? =)

Letter H

Here is the other altered letter for my other daughter's room that I did! It's green and purple. Her room is painted green so it looks really pretty against her wall!

Quote of the Day:

Certain things catch your eye, But pursue only those that capture your heart.

Altered Letter

Here's a picture of an altered letter that I made for my daughters room! It was very easy to make because I didn't have to paint it. =) I only had to hot glued some ribbon and flowers on it! How easy was that? Yeah that's cheating I know! LOL

My First Altered Can

This is the very first altered can I ever made! I was so proud of it! Most people buy paint cans but I just used a large green bean can and a white clothes hanger! (Something I had around the house)
I thought it turned out so cute to be my very first one! I used textured brown and pink cardstock. The ribbon was bought at Michael's (my new favorite craft store)! I actually bought some spoons and put in it. Then I wrapped it up in some cellophane, tied a pretty bow around it and gave it away as a bridal shower gift! You can spread Modge Podge all over it so it will last longer and but I didnt have any! =) Maybe next time! =) Thanks for looking!

Baby Shower Tag Album

This is a another tag album that I made for my sister in law. I made it of the pictures that I took of her baby shower. I love the colors brown and blue. Can't wait til my new little nephew gets here so I can spoil him!

Tag Album

This is a tag album that I made for my daughter. It's pictures of her 7th birthday. It's pink and black! My two favorite colors!
I made my own template and used a binder ring to hold it all together. I added ribbon to the binder ring.
I actually made this in a hosptial room! How weird is that?
