Flip Flop Albums are alot of fun to make!! They are cute and cheap! What else can you ask for! LOL Basically you take a cute pair of flippers trace them out on to card stock. Cut them out, punch the holes for the holes for the ribbon. The ribbon holds the book together.
Cut off the thong on the right flip flop. Glue the cut out flip flop to the flipper. Note: If you want to decorate the pages before you punch the holes that is fine too! I would have probably done that if I were adding pictures to this album but I didn't. I didnt' because I am going to give this album away to kids with cancer. You are now ready to decorate and embellish your pages!!
Here I added lines so a sweet little girl can add her own journaling! I used stamps and embossed these flower and butterfly. I also used a brad and a button.

Take 4 white or brown paper bag lunch sacks and lay them on top of each other like this.
Make a crease or fold down the center of each bag. Fold your pages into an album. Punch as many holes as you would like in your album. You can use eyelets like I did here or ribbons or binder rings. Anything to hold the book together that you can find or would like to use.
Start adding you embellishments and paper. If you would like the whole bag to be covered with paper, cover your bag with paper first and then punch your holes and set your eyelets.
Add your ribbons and embellishments.
I added glitter to the flowers. I used a brad to attach it to the paper. Inside of the book are little pockets that you can use for other little things like little pages or tags like I did here.
Now I can go to crops in style! Check out what my hubby bought me at WM Saturday for 20 bucks! I thought this was a great deal! AND It's my Favorite Color!
Just wanted to share how awesome God is! Today we went to church as usual. But our piano player and song leader were on vacation. So when they are out, another lady and I lead the praise and worship. We sing Praise and Worship every Sunday but it puts alittle more pressure on us to sing more songs when they are out. "Or it does on me b.c I get nervous in front of crowds". :) Here is where God's awesome Power comes in. I sang a closing song "NAIL IT TO THE CROSS" and before I even started singing half of the church was at the alter! I couldnt believe it! God was moving today..in a mighty way! God is always awesome but today was so powerful! It's nothing that I did! I love to see God moving! I feel so revived! I just wanted to share this! God wants us to share about Him! He doesnt want us to be ashamed of Him because HE is not ashamed of us! I believe we must tell the good things God does for us in our lives! Romans 1:16 reads For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes! We should never be ashamed or embarrassed to talk about God and what he has done for us! We shouldnt be ashamed or embarrassed to say grace to public, say a prayer a friend, read our bible, go to the alter or even go to church! And if we are we should bring it to God in prayer. He expects us to bring all our needs to him prayer! Prayer is the key to life. It's our communication with God. No it doesnt have to be a fancy prayer. It can be what I call a popcorn prayer. Which is nothing more than saying a very short prayer. God loves us so much! Blessings to all!
This a is tag that I made from plain white, pink and blue paper scraps. I inked the edges added an eyelet, some ribbon, 2 square brads and fibers. I heat embossed the bird stamp so it would pop!
My thoughts for tonight,
Who shall seperate us from the love of God? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness, or peril, or sword? For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus MY SAVIOR! Romans 8:35-39
God loves me so much that nothing can stop that! And if I love him back his word tells me that All things will work for the good! Romans 8:28 " And we know that all things work together for the good TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, to those who are CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE!" No matter what I go through, God still loves me and wants the best for me! And his word tells me that I will go through hard times but if I believe and trust in him I will see through to the end! My FEELINGS sometime tell me that things won't ever brighten up but FACTS in the bible tell me that it will! We can't live on feelings, I must live on the facts! So no matter how I feel the truth is God loves me! And always will! Nothing I can do will remove me from God's love!

I finally did it! I organized all my paper scraps! I altered this chipboard album that I bought for $1.00 a while back. I sorted all my scraps into colors and each color into it's own page protector! Now it sets nicely organized on my shelf! =)

This is a maze book that I made out of one sheet of 12 by 12 cardstock. I used my Easter pictures for the book. Well at least it gives it more detail right? =)
This is a another tag album that I made for my sister in law. I made it of the pictures that I took of her baby shower. I love the colors brown and blue. Can't wait til my new little nephew gets here so I can spoil him!
