Almost finished

A couple of coasters I made

I bought plain white tiles from Lowes for like .16 cents a piece, hot glued felt to the back and you're done.

Hanging out with my boo bags for my daughters Halloween party this year.

I've been working on daughter's school albums for a while now. It's been a slow but fun process and I'm super proud of myself for finishing such a huge task! The only regret I have so far is not taking a picture of them with their teacher each year!!

A few cards

I made two cards Sunday afternoon. There's something about fall that makes me want to "play"! I love it!! These are not my original designs. I lifted them from Pinterest. My favorite website on the web!

Fall Yarn Wreath

I am in love with making these yarn wreaths!! They are so easy and cheap to make!!!!! All of my supplies came from Walmart since I don't live close to a craft store. Hey, I'll take what I can get! ;-)

Sweet 16 Glow Party

I thought I would share some of my daughter's Sweet 16th Birthday Party. I used neon everything. Pretty much anything neon glows under a black light. I do suggest using several long tube black lights for the a great effect. I bought white plastic cloths thinking they would glow but they didn't. But we wrote on the colored table cloths with high lighters and that glowed.

Another cool effect is putting glow sticks in balloons. I bought neon balloons from my local party store.

Her neon birthday banner. I found neon ribbon at walmart that was really cheap. I also found neon pipe cleaners at the dollar tree.

We had glow necklackes and braclets for everybody. Music and lots of food! ;-) I did subs, pizza, pigs in a blanket, hamburger dip, and fruit. The kids loved it. I also bought neon colored plates from my party store and they also glow. I saw Hobby Lobby carries the plates and cups as well.

The awesome cake!

We also had fireworks and silly string. The kids loved them!! That kept the boys entertained.

I also made a photo booth from a black table cloth. I found a lot of neon stuff at the dollar tree. I used all neon cardstock for the props.

Pinterest Party Fun

We had so much fun at the Pinterest Party we had at my church the other day!! Everyone got to make a wreath of the holiday of their choice. This is definitely something we will do again. Everyone was so creative!

Here's a youtube tutorial if you're interested in making one or hosting your own Pinterest Party!

We made these easy felt flowers for ours. It can be as cheap or expensive as you'd like.

Coffee filter wreath

I've been working on this off and on the past few days. I've been wanting to host a Pinterest Party and I've been experimenting with different crafts but can't find the right one. I would like for the craft to be easy, cheap and quick. I was hoping to find something they could finish within an hour or so. This took away longer than one or two hours.

Oh well, I guess I'll keep browsing Pinterest. ;-)

It took a pack of coffee filters and a piece of another one. I used a straw wreath because I couldn't find a foam one. I cut the letter H out of card board with my cameo. Then I glued and glitter it.

Here's a youtube tutorial if you'd like to make one.

Here's some Pinspiration

New Vinyl Projects

I know I haven't been posting my projects lately but since Blogger changed it has made it really hard to post my projects. sigh. As I type this half of my page is not even loaded. It is extremely hard to upload pictures now. I just wish they would change it back! Maybe it's just my computer. Who knows. Anyone else having trouble or is just me?

Anywho, here are a couple of the vinyl projects that I have done lately. The plate was for my niece. She bought it from Southern Living and asked if I would put "something on it". She orginally wanted a bible scripture but I knew it wouldn't fit. The bag is for my other neice who is having a major surgery soon. I filled it with all kinds of goodies for her hospital stay. Thanks to all the "peas" who gave helpful suggestions.  I had the bag made but I put the vinyl on the cup and lap desk. My neice is 15 and has spinal bifida. She is my heart. She truly is an Angel! Her surgery is coming up Aug. 21 if you would like to remember her in your prayers.

Inside the bag I put little things to make her hospital stay a little bighter/funner!

So far I have put
Coloring books, crayons, markers, pens, scissors, glue a pencil box. I put her name on the pencil box too of course. :)

A Justin Beiber book and pillow case (from Claire's).

Glow in the dark braclets, necklaces and other little odds and ends from the dollar tree. (I love that store).

A MP3 player with Justin's newest songs. A new portable DVD player with Justin Beibers new movie, Never Say Never. She loves JB. Can't ya tell? :)

Here is the bag for the DVD player. My cousin put her initals on it for me. It is also going to house her mp3 players and movies.
Thank you Sandy!!
I also bought her some stickers, paper, and easy puzzles. I know I went a little bit over board but I would do anything for that child! I love her to pieces! Thanks for reading. I apologize for any errors. It wouldn't let me spell check or go back and change anything. :( Have a wonderful weekend! Take Care.
