Challenge LO's

Here are two more layouts that I did over the weekend for the CK online crop. It was a blast! I got a lot accomplished and I pushed myself to try new things. The first layout was a challenge where you had to use the word moment, 7 eyelets or brads, and 3 lines of journaling. The second one is a challenge where you had to layer at least 3 embellishments. I had a lot of fun doing these LO's. Hopefully I didn't misspell anything else..LOL I guess I was so in tuned on getting the word straight instead of spelling it right. hehe Luckily that is something a little paper can fix.

Online Crop at CK

I really enjoyed cropping this weekend with wonderful ladies over at CK. If you've never joined in on an online crop, you should! It's so much fun! Here are a couple of LO's that I completed for some of the challenges. These are 2 scraplift challenges that I done. They both can be found in the pages of the CK Magazine!

Stacey's New Site!

I am sooo exicted! I just visited Stacey's new website. Well it's not new but the message board is! You should really check it out! It's sooooo cool!! I love the online classes! WOW! Is all I keep saying! I can't believe someone could be sooo sweet! This is the nicest thing someone has ever done for me! Thank you so much Sheree! I still can't believe you done this for me! You are so awesome and kind! I love it all! The paper is so beautiful! I've never had My Mind's Eye before! The tags are are gorgeous! I wanted some Christmas stamps too! But as you know I couldnt get any. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is so much better than the drinking glasses my hubby got me for Christmas!

I'm going to use the tags on my tree next year! I'm going to make a scrap tree. :) So if you have any ideas please let me know! You are sooo talented and creative! You are the best ever!

Dad's Christmas Picture

Finally! I can't post Daddy's caricature. I've been dying to post it. LOL Thank's again Rick for doing this at the last moment! He loved it by the way!! I knew he would!

I found out about Rick from a lady on the CKMB. She shared a picture that Rick had drawn for her hubby for Christmas and I had to have one!

Here are two more pages. Only 1 more to go!! Time is ticking away fast on me! I also made two more clipboards yesterday. Those are easy and fun to make. I've been cleaning up today trying to get the house ready for Santa! Maybe he'll leave me something too! :) Let's hope!

Altered Chocolate Bars

Is there something wrong with me? I mean there must be since I'm putting paper on candy bars, right? Oh well. Who cares right? These are going in treat bags for my brothers and their families for Christmas. Speaking of Treat Bags, I have peanut butter cookies to make. Tootles.

Teacher's Gifts

Here are the last two altered clipboards that I made for the girls teachers. I like these two the best out of all that I've made so far. I love browns and blues together! :)

Treat Bags

I made 25 treat bags to give away to the families at church Sunday after the Christmas Party. I baked homemade chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. I also made some pretzel hugs. It doesnt sound like much but it took me 6 hours to make them. :)

The Tomb

We went last week to a garden near by to see all the Christmas lights. They were so beautiful. It's a Christian place and they also have a church service there. These are pictures to show people the tomb that Jesus was buried in might have looked like. Also there is a carpetners house/worshop. It's really cool the way they have it set up. They also had a HUGE Manger scence. I couldn't get any good pictures of that b.c of poor lighting.

I'm sorry this picture is blurry. I'm having trouble with shaky hands lately.

I love this paper. I think it's so cute with the bird. I used 5x7's on this page and that was a stretch for me to do. My mil has not seen the girl's school pictures yet. I messed up and put AUG instead of May on this one. The whole time I thought I was working on the AUG page. LOL It's a good thing that they both have 3 letters. Easy fix! LOL

Scrap Basket

I put together this Scrap Goody Basket last night. It's filled with stickers, inks, stamps, papers, a magazine, embellishments and lots more! I'm taking it to our Church Christmas Party Sunday night. We always a game called dirty Santa. It's a game where you can take someone else's gift or they can take yours (depending on the number you draw). It's really fun and their usually are a couple of gifts that everyone wants. I know several girls who like to scrapbook in our church so I think this will go over well! What do ya think?

BTW These are new and slightly used items. We are urged not to buy any gifts (which makes it really funny b.c. sometimes you end up with other people's junk) LOL

July Calendar Page

I am so frustrated with myself lately! I can't seem to take a good, CLEAR picture anymore! My hands are getting so shaky! It irritates me! :)

Here is the July Page for my Mil's Calendar that I'm making her for Christmas. I made 3 pages tonight! WOOHOO! Only 3 more to do! I went to my cousins house tonight and we used her cricut to cut out some letters and such. Boy do I need one of those babies! They are SWEET!

I still need to go back and journal on these pages and add a few things here and there but for the most part they are coming together rather nicely.

December Calendar Page

This page was the hardest for me so far. It just would NOT come together for me. Most of the time I'm pretty quick at putting a layout together but not this time! :) I made the mistake of putting the papers on the calendar before finishing the layout. Trail and Error! I'm still learning! :)

Calligraphy

I bought this little kit at Books-a-Million the other night. I've always thought calligraphy was the cooliest thing. I cant wait to dig my heels in and try this out. :)

Sweet Treats

We had a good time this weekend baking! My friend came over and we made all sorts of fun cookies. Gingerbread, Pecan, and Meltaways. MMMM The girls had a blast playing in the dough and decorating the cookies!

We R Memory Keepers ROCK!

Let me tell ya! I emailed the customer service at We R Memory Keepers telling them about the crop-a-dile accident. They are sending me a REPLACEMENT!!!! WOW WOW WOW! They are the best!! I've ALWAYS LOVED their products and now I love them even more! They are the bomb diggity!

CRAP-o-dile

Well, it's really not a CRAP-o-dile, it's a crop-a-dile and its a REALLY great tool until your husband decides to use it for his own hobby! Clint was using it this afternoon to make a leather case for another knife he made.

Can you believe it just broke like that? I CAN'T! I just wanted to cry! I bought it half off! lol Apprently he was applying to much pressure and just popped right off. He did have the leather packed really tight into the little hole.

He said he would buy me another one but it's just not the same is it? HAHA! He thought it was soo funny! I on the other hand DID NOT! He then started using my Karen Foster Click it Hole Punch and clogged it up.

See that smirk on his face? And my blue handle punch? Ladies pray for me! OR Pray for him rather!! LOL He still hasnt finished the knife case. I'll post pics when he's done.

My Dad's Photo Shoot :)

We had a mini photo shoot at my Dad's today. I had to take some pics of him and of his motorcycle. I needed them for a little project that I'm putting together. Thank you Nicole (CKMB) for this idea! He'll love it!

P.S. Daddy you need to buy the side car now, so that me, Lacey and Haley can ride!! :)

Magazine

Look how cute the article for the Sunshine Albums turned out!! I'm soo pleased with it! Well I LOVE IT to be honest! It's really awesome to me! The article came out in the November/December issue of my local hometown magazine! I love it soo much! It is very special to me b.c. my best friend wrote and designed the layout! Thanks Rebekah! You ROCK Girl! :)

File Folder Templates

Connie, I'm sorry I do not have the template for the file folder album. You can find a template online and print it out. All you would have to do is print it out, and fold it where the front part is shorter or smaller than the back part. The two will be the same size but one will be flip over giving that opposite effect.

I actually got the one I have from Memory Maker's Magazine. It came with the magazine. I'm sorry I wasn't much help. Thanks for the comment! Take Care!
