Altered Mailbox

OH boy was this fun to do! I'm going to fill this baby up with some candies and goodies and give it to my dad and girlfriend for Valentines day! My girls are begging me to give it to them! hehe.

My weekend goodies

I went to Archivers for the very first time ever this past weekend. It was heavenly I must admit! I also hit the $ bins at Target and Michaels! I bought some cardstock, a Bo Bunny LOVE chipboard album, a bracket chipboard album, a mini mailbox to alter for Vday, some journals to alter, embellishments, vday chipboard, some ribbons, a brown ink pad, bling and some felt. That pretty much has me set for about a week or so! LOL Cathy, if you read this I had a ball!! :)

New Toy

My hubby bought this new tote for me the other day right before we went to give blood. It's going to come in so handy!

I received my new crop-a-dile in the mail yesterday! I'm so pleased with the customer service at We Are Memory Keepers! They ROCK! I love my little crop-a-dile and it's so easy to use! I don't think my hubby will be using my new one for a very long time! lol

Look what the mail man brought in! I'm so exicted! I love receiving goodies in the mail. Esp scrappy goodies! :) They will make your day every time!! Thank you Patti and Trina for these lovely treats! I had a lot of fun at the crop! I can't wait until the next one!

True Love

I had a lot of fun making this layout. It's in an 11x14 frame now that is gracing my living room wall. I love to heat emboss. If you've never tried it, you should. It's a lot of fun to do. I wished I would have left room to journal but I always forget! Besides my hand writting is terrible!

Playing Around

I've really got the fever for a new, improved, top of the line digital camera. :) Today I got online looking at all the cool ones and got disappointed b/c I dont have the money for one right now. So I took out my ole cheap HP digi camera and started playing. I changed some of the settings like the white balance and ISO. I'm really suprised with the results. Thanks again Kelli for the encouragment! I needed that today. :) The girls from allmomentsremembered are just great! They also offered offered a little help. They recommended that I visit Karen Russells blog. And boy were they right on the money! She is very skillful with a camera. So go check her out HERE if you want some cool tips. You will be inspired! As for me? I'll just add the new camera to my wish list of many other things.

These photos are just some artifical flowers I have in a can. Nothing fancy. They are not even for decoration.
